Dipton is a former pit village located in the district of Derwentside in County Durham
in the north east of England.
The group has been running continuously since 1929 and
is almost unique, being a joint Scout and Guide group.
We have six sections in the
group, which provide a wide range of exciting activities for young people aged between
5 and 14. At present we have almost 70 members.
For those over 14 there is also the
District Explorer Scout Unit.

Why not pop along to one of our coffee mornings. It’s a great chance to meet other families, talk to leaders or just have some good food. Coffee mornings are held once a fortnight.
