Scout Sections go Co-educational
As from 1st September 2006 the three Scout Sections will be open to girls as well as boys. This change is in line with the Scout Association’s Co-educational policy, which states that all Scout Groups must accept girls by 31st December 2006.
This change does not affect the Guide sections, which are only open to girls.

Subs Increase
Weekly subs for all sections will increase to £1.50 per week as from 1st September 2006.
Cleaning Crew make a difference
All members should give a big thank you to the three members of our cleaning crew who come in every Wednesday to clean the headquarters. Since the treasurer and two parents, who make up the crew, started the building looks much better.
We would, however, appreciate any other volunteers to join them and help spread the work. You would not need to come along every Wednesday, once a month or even once a year would be very much appreciated.
